My troy bilt lawn mower wont start?

My troy bilt lawn mower is only a year and two months old and before it would start and then struggle to stay running and then give out and die. The next day i tryed and it wont even start. I've drained the oil and put new troy bilt motor oil in. Second

the spark plug is only a couple of bucks if moneys tight at least take it out and clean it. it should help.
