How do I loosen the flywheel nut on a Briggs and Stratton 42A707 twin? I need to replace the starter gear.?

I have the 1.25 socket for the nut holding the flywheel on, but I don't know how to keep the motor from turning so I can get the nut off.
One of the bolts that holds the starter on is under the flywheel.
You can use a strap wrench to hold the flywheel from turning, or you can get a flywheel wrench from your local Briggs & Stratton service center. You would need to specify make, model, & serial number to get the right one. DO NOT use a screwdriver
