I have a 79 camaro with a 350. How much will it cost to rebuild with a mild cam and a couple other minor power additives. I want to make around 300hp. I will remove and put the engine back into the car so that shouldn't effect the price.
Around $2500.
Assuming you get quality parts, and not cheap crap that will blow the engine apart in a month.
The '79 El Camino with a 350 had 165 hp. It's a complete pile of shit, post-smog engine.
