My Chevy Cobalt recently got water in the engine from driving through a puddle, which caused my engine to seize (according to the Mechanic at the authorized Chevy dealer). The engine needs to be replaced. I am within the 5 year / 100,000 mile Powertrain
unless there was some factory defect that allowed water to enter into your car, I think this one may be on you, or your auto insurance, (you can always call and find out, that must have been one really deep puddle because normally it is difficult to get
