2002 Dodge Neon Flashing Check Engine light?

About a month ago my car began to run funny. FYI, my check engine light has been on since I bought the car. The dealership ran tests and said that it was a bad gas cap. I have replaced 4 times and it still stays on. They said no other codes were coming
