i got an 03celica, and am fishing for low beam headlight bulbs for my car.. only thing is am wanting either a?

blue or a white bulb.tha catch is that my dealer said that aftermarket bulbs burn electric wirings etc etc.. how do i avoid all these burnouts and still get the headlight color I want?? and how do i know w/c bulbs will do damage and w/c ones will not?

Using higher wattage bulbs will definitely burn (or some people would say "short") your wires.
